K2 Class
Our K2 Classroom
Our school has six classrooms located on the first and second floors. The K2 class is in Room 102 on the first floor.
The K2 classroom is decorated primarily in blue and measures approximately 500 square feet. It is spacious, bright, and well-ventilated. Just outside the classroom is a semi-open corridor where children can enjoy the sky and even do some potted planting — a lovely and inviting environment.
Activities in Our K2 Class
From fruit peel enzymes to fish dissection and beyond…
Apart from daily physical education, our K2 class features an impressive variety of exciting and engaging activities — more than you can imagine! Compared with other K2 classes in To Kwa Wan, we proudly stand out for the sheer amount and quality of our learning experiences.
Our Putonghua teacher also serves as the classroom assistant, so Putonghua is the main language of communication in daily routines.
Students attend English lessons with a native English-speaking teacher three days per week. Since the 2021–22 academic year, a local English teacher has also joined to co-teach these sessions.

Useful Information for K2 Transfers
How many K2 places are available in Hung Hom, Lung Tong, Ho Man Tin, and To Kwa Wan?
The Education Bureau (EDB) does not currently provide official data on the number of K2 vacancies in these districts. This is because kindergarten places are largely determined by classroom capacity. For example, if a kindergarten has three classrooms, each approved for 20 full-day students by the Department of Health, the school can offer a total of 60 full-day places. If there are 18 students in K1, 17 in K2, and 19 in K3, then 6 spots remain. These can be allocated at the school’s discretion to any level — K1, K2, or K3. Thus, level-specific vacancies are fluid and cannot be guaranteed.
Parents interested in vacancy information may refer to the Kindergarten and Kindergarten-cum-Child Care Centre Profile published by the EDB. It provides classroom capacity (“total approved classroom capacity in use”) and student numbers for each level, which can help assess possible K2 vacancies in To Kwa Wan and other areas.
If relocating and seeking a K2 place in To Kwa Wan, how can parents find which schools have vacancies?
Parents can visit the webpage for K1 Admission Arrangements for the 2025/26 School Year, then check the “Vacancy Information” section. After selecting Kowloon City District (which includes To Kwa Wan), you can view the availability of K1 places. While K2-specific vacancies aren’t listed, if a school has K1 places marked with “Y” (available), there’s a high chance it may also have K2 places. You are advised to contact schools directly to confirm.

What is the transfer process for joining K2 in To Kwa Wan? What should parents note?
To transfer to a new kindergarten (including joining K2 in To Kwa Wan), the typical process is:
Apply and attend an interview at the new school.
Upon acceptance, inform the current school and withdraw your child.
Apply to the EDB for a “Provisional Registration Certificate” for the new school (to reserve your child’s place), and purchase the school uniform, schoolbag, and textbooks.
Collect the original Registration Certificate from the previous school on your child’s last day, and submit it to the new school on or before the first day of class.
Important: Schools participating in the Kindergarten Education Scheme require students to have a valid Registration Certificate. Parents must give the original school one month’s written notice to retrieve this certificate.
